Kathmandu : The government has extended thanks to all those who supported the ratification of the US grant assistance MCC Compact from the parliament.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers held today thanked all for creating environment conducive to the MCC ratification from the House of Representatives (HoR) of the federal parliament.
Prime Minister’s Press Chief Govinda Pariyar said the cabinet meeting has thanked all the parties represented in the government, coalition partners, main opposition party and all other political parties, the Speaker and MPs.
Furthermore, thanks go to all Nepali sisters and brothers, civil society, the media, intellectuals and industrialists for their support and goodwill in this process.
The cabinet meeting also stated that the government was committed not to allow Nepali soil to be used against neigbhouring countries India and China and others as per the spirit of Nepal’s foreign policy.
Similarly, the meeting has extended gratitude to neighboring countries, development partners, regional and international agencies for their vital support in Nepal’s social and economic development.
